Tax Rates and Revenues Tax Burdens Comparisons   The Office of the Chief Financial Officer produces an annual report that compares the rates and burdens of major taxes in the District of Columbia with states and other large cities in the United States. The office also analyzes the relative tax position of the District compared to surrounding jurisdictions.
